Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty (born October 1, 95 at Berkeley California) is an actress. She's an actress known for Choices (2010, The Heart and Other Small Shapes, 2006) and Chrissie Mair's Content House 2022.
Asia Argento was raised in Rome by a film and actor family. The two professions she chose to pursue were herself. The Church, directed by Michele Soavi, was her first role. Red Wood Pigeon was the subsequent year's film, in which Asia played Nanni's child. Close Friends was written by Michele Placido and was directed by her. It was at this point that Asia's career began to take off, and she moved from young girl roles to complex and mature roles. It was well received in the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma she acted in her first film with her father, the famous Italian film director Dario Argento Her mother is one of the most beloved actresses by Argento, Daria Nicolodi, playing an anorexic girl in search for her parents' killer. Asia has collaborated with Dario Argento in three of his films, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome as well as the Phantom of the Opera. In Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze, Asia's absorption style of intense acting was utilized well. In 1993 she co-starred in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista, in which she performed the role of Arianna, a physically disabled girl--an intricate, difficult role that won an award from David di Donatello award for the the best actress. She was also a featured role in the cast international in the film Queen Margot directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995 she worked with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio which again won her the David di Donatello as well as a Grolla of Oro. Asia began the profession of directing in 1994 and produced two shorts and an episode of De Generazione. The following year, in 1996, Asia made a document on her father. Then, in 1998, Asia created a feature-length film about Abel Ferrara (AbelAsia), which was recognized with an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia began her first feature film in 1999. It was Scarlet Diva. In this film she also played the star and directed the script. The film released May 2000 both in Italy as well as the rest of world. The Williamsburg Film festival held in Brooklyn, New York awarded the film with a award.
